Easter Egg Hunt at Dinefwr

The Easter Egg Hunt at Dinefwr is set to be a cracking day out for families this spring, running from 12th to 21st April between 11am and 3pm. Set within the stunning parkland of Dinefwr Park in Llandeilo, this year’s event brings a brand-new trail designed to keep kids entertained and grown-ups smiling too.

This isn’t just any old egg hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt at Dinefwr weaves its way around the gorgeous grounds, taking in sights like the historic Ice House, the sweeping lawns around Newton House, and the beautiful formal gardens. There’s plenty of space to explore and lots of fun to be had with activity stops along the way – including one where little ones can try and hook a duck from the fountain!

The trail has been designed to encourage kids to engage with nature as they go, with activities like dancing like a bird and spotting as many feathery friends as they can along the route. It’s a fun and active way to get some fresh air and soak up the lovely spring scenery Dinefwr is known for.

Each trail costs £3.50 and includes a trail sheet, a pair of bunny ears for the kids to wear, and a chocolate egg at the end – with dairy, vegan and Free From options available (the Free From egg is suitable for those with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies). Little reminder, this price is in addition to normal admission fees.

It’s a great way to enjoy some quality time together as a family, whether you’re exploring for the first time or making a return visit to this much-loved National Trust site. With the trail stretching over parkland and through the grounds, it’s a brilliant excuse to get outdoors and enjoy some Easter holiday fun.
