Breakout Swansea

Breakout Swansea is a live escape room experience right in the heart of Swansea city centre, where your team is locked into a themed room and given sixty minutes to solve puzzles, crack codes and find a way out.

There are three games to choose from, each built and designed in house rather than bought off the shelf, so you won’t find the same puzzles anywhere else. Every session is private, so it’s just your group in the room, with a host watching on camera and ready to give a nudge if you get stuck.

You’re never actually locked in, you can leave at any point if you need to. Breakout Swansea works well for families, friends, birthdays and even work nights out.

Laughing Lair

A twisted carnival theme, complete with a maze of rigged games, crooked mirrors and a ringmaster who isn’t playing fair. Your team has to work through his riddles and outsmart the midway contraptions before the final lock clicks shut for good.

Prison Strike

You’re behind bars for a crime you didn’t commit, and a previous inmate has left behind a trail of clues, tools and a plan for breaking out. Expect layered logic puzzles, contraband to piece together, and hands on tasks that need a calm head and good teamwork.

Mumbles Bunker

A decommissioned bunker below Mumbles becomes your refuge from a killer on the loose, but the door locks behind you and the game truly begins. Ciphers, combination locks and pattern recognition all link together, and every solve reveals a bit more of who’s really behind it all.

About the Venue

Breakout Live Swansea, a purpose built escape room venue in Swansea city centre, a short walk from NCP Swansea Kingsway car park, SA1 5JQ. Booking is essential and each group gets the room entirely to themselves.

Pricing

Prices work per group and drop the more players you bring. Two players costs £50 (£25 each), rising to £69 for three, £84 for four, £90 for five, £96 for six and £112 for seven, working out as little as £16 per person in a full group. Everything can be booked online, and it’s worth booking ahead since Wednesday to Sunday slots fill up quickly, especially at weekends.
