The Aqua Park at Llys-y-frân has landed at the lake in the Pembrokeshire hills, giving families one of the more adventurous Pembrokeshire water activities on offer this summer.
Giant inflatables, slides, balance challenges, tunnels and a climbing wall make up the floating obstacle course, with sessions running for 45 minutes and fully supervised by trained lifeguards throughout. Participants need to be at least 1.2m tall and able to swim confidently and unaided (it’s worth checking the exact distance required directly with the venue, as their own guidance lists both 25 and 50 metres).
Children aged 8 to 12 need one adult on the water for every two of them, while those aged 13 to 16 need an adult present on site. It’s a fun one for older kids, teens and confident swimmers looking for something a bit different on the water.
