High Ropes at Pembrey

High Ropes at Pembrey is the biggest adrenaline hit at Pembrey Country Park, built around the Climb, Leap and Zip package. You’ll scale towering trees on a proper high wire course, take a heart pounding leap from a purpose built jump platform, then finish off soaring across the site on a zip line.

It’s a three stage challenge that suits families, groups of friends, youth groups and anyone chasing a confidence boost, not just the hardened thrill-seekers. Sessions run in small groups so there’s a bit of a wait between climbing, leaping and zipping, but that just gives everyone a chance to cheer each other on. High Ropes at Pembrey is well worth booking ahead for, since spaces do fill up.

About the Venue

Pembrey Country Park’s High Wire Adventure course near Burry Port, Carmarthenshire, a three stage climb, leap and zip challenge for all ages. It’s free to enter the park, though you’ll need to pay for parking before you leave. There’s a café and toilets on site, plus plenty of open space for the kids to run around.

Pricing

High Ropes at Pembrey costs £25 per person for the full Climb, Leap and Zip session. Sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays between 27 July and 30 August, with two slots each day, 10.30am to 11.30am and 11.30am to 12.30pm.

There’s a minimum age of eight and a maximum weight limit of 130kg, so it’s worth checking everyone in your group meets both before you book. Spaces are limited each session, so booking ahead is a good idea rather than turning up on the day and hoping.
