Wild Lakes in Martletwy

Wild Lakes in Martletwy is a family-run adventure hub in the heart of Pembrokeshire, offering one of the more varied line ups of Pembrokeshire sports under one roof, with something to do across every season.

On the water, riders can learn to wakeboard or progress their skills on one of two cable systems, with one-to-one coaching from instructors throughout (ages 8+, must swim 25m unaided). Ringo rides run alongside wakeboarding through the warmer months, zipping two adults or three children across the lake on an inflatable donut (ages 6+).

On land, the indoor bouldering wall is open all year round, with new routes set every fortnight and sessions suitable from age 3 in dedicated Little Rockers hours through to adult competent climbers.

Wrapping it all up is Stoked, the site’s family-run restaurant, serving coal and wood-fired food from a converted shipping container kitchen, open every day but Monday.

About Wild Lakes

Wild Lakes sits in Martletwy, Pembrokeshire, and is run by three local siblings. There’s parking on site, though access along Cott Lane can be pot-holed, so it’s worth taking it slowly. The car park and some paths around the site are stone, though the clubhouse, decking and Stoked restaurant are wheelchair and pushchair friendly, with accessible toilets available.

Prices and opening times

Prices vary by activity. Wakeboarding and Ringo Rides are booked in 15 minute sessions, with Ringo Rides priced at £25 for a shared 15 minutes between two adults or three children. Indoor climbing starts from £20pp for an Introduction to Bouldering session, with a Kids Climbing Pass (age 7+) from £9pp, an Adult Climbing Pass from £11pp, and Little Rockers (age 3-6) from £5pp.

Stoked restaurant is free to visit, with no entry fee for spectators watching from the decking or clubhouse.

Opening times differ by activity: the climbing wall and Stoked run all year round, wakeboarding runs from early April to the end of November (weather dependent), and Ringo Rides and the Aqua Park run over the summer months only.
