Penrhallt Alpacas

Penrhallt Alpacas is a family run alpaca farm on the north coast of Gower and one of those genuinely special experiences that children and adults talk about long after the visit. The farm has been in the family for four generations and follows the highest standards of animal welfare set by the British Alpaca Society.

Visits last just over an hour and are kept small and personal, with a maximum of 11 alpacas per session. You will walk one of the pet boys around the farm boundaries at a relaxed pace, before meeting and hand feeding the rest of the herd. Every visit is tailored to your family’s ages and abilities, and the team can accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids with advance notice. You may share your visit with one other family.

Not everyone wants to lead an alpaca and that is absolutely fine. A spectator ticket lets you join the visit, watch, take photos and soak up the experience without getting hands on. Plenty of photo opportunities throughout, so make sure your camera is charged before you arrive.

Advance booking is essential as feeding rations need to be planned ahead for the alpacas. Vouchers can be purchased online and you will receive a unique download code once booked. No dogs are permitted on site.

Group visits, team building and hen and stag party experiences are also available. Call directly to discuss what can be arranged for larger groups.
