The British Bird of Prey Centre is the only UK attraction dedicated entirely to native British birds of prey, home to over 20 species including tawny owls, gyrfalcons, merlins, snowy owls, red kites, golden eagles, goshawks, barn owls, peregrines, ravens and the white-tailed sea eagle, among others. Three flying shows run daily, with owls gliding past at eye level, red kites sweeping overhead and falcons powering through the arena in free flight.
Between shows, explore the aviaries, take on the games in the Indoor Interactive Activity Centre, let the kids loose in the outdoor play area, or join a 30 minute group flying experience for the chance to have a bird fly straight to your glove. There’s also a café on site for drinks, snacks and light meals, and the whole site is flat and step free, so it’s easy to get around with a wheelchair or buggy.
