The Wild and Deadly Show with Bugfest

The Wild and Deadly Show returns to the National Botanic Garden of Wales on 30th October, bringing a live, action packed performance to the Theatre as part of Bugfest’s day at the Garden.

Expect wow moments as you come face to face with fascinating minibeasts, packed with animal encounters, bite sized science and facts celebrating the role these creatures play in keeping the planet healthy.

It is educational, entertaining and full of fun, with a conservation message the whole family can follow. Presented by an expert with over 20 years’ experience in science education and live performance. Between shows, the Bugfest team will be on hand with exotic minibeasts, so visitors can get up close and safely handle many of them.

There are three shows where visitors can meet the animals and enjoy hands-on encounters before the first show and between each performance.

About the Venue

National Botanic Garden of Wales, Llanarthne, Carmarthenshire, is a great day out for families. Wander through themed gardens, the huge glasshouse and play areas with a zip wire, or explore nature trails and the Gruffalo Trail. Set across 500 acres, with free parking on site. Open daily from 10am to 6pm.

The Wild and Deadly Show is free with normal Garden admission, and no booking is needed. Adult tickets are £18.38 with Gift Aid or £16.49 without, and children aged 2 to 17 are £9.63 with Gift Aid or £8.44 without. Under 2s are free, as are carers and unpaid carers with proof of eligibility. A family ticket for two adults and up to four children is £51.63 with Gift Aid or £46.81 without, and a one adult ticket (up to four children) is £34.13 with Gift Aid or £39.38 without. Last entry is an hour before closing.
