Zombie Trail at Pembrey Country Park

The Zombie Trail at Pembrey Country Park returns for one night only, taking you through the woodlands after dark as zombies emerge from the shadows along the way.

It’s an atmospheric, lit trail packed with eerie effects and jump-out moments, built for older kids, teens and adults who fancy a proper scare. The earliest sessions offer a tamer version with fewer scares, making it a good option for younger visitors or anyone new to Halloween frights, before things ramp up for the later slots.

Every child who takes on the trail gets a medal at the end. Fancy dress is encouraged, and bringing a torch adds to the fun if you’re brave enough. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear are a good idea, and advance booking is essential.

About the Venue

Pembrey Country Park is one of Wales’s top visitor attractions, combining coast and countryside on one site in Carmarthenshire. With 500 acres of woodland and eight miles of golden sands at Cefn Sands, plus a visitor centre, play area, cycle hire and café, it’s easy to get to and good value for a full family day out.

There’s a park parking fee on top of the trail cost, which is £9.50 per person, with sessions non refundable so it’s worth checking your diary before booking. Book your chosen time slot in advance on the Pembrey Country Park website, with sessions running between 5pm and 8pm on Friday 30 October.

The earliest sessions are the tamer version, better suited to younger or more nervous visitors, with the scares stepping up as the evening goes on. Spaces sell out every year, so it’s worth booking early.
